Continuing Our Installation

Today we didn't spend much time inside. We started by putting the finishing touches on our plans for our Earth Art project. Ms. K also asked that we all have a back up plan for our designs. We needed to decide on a secondary set of materials we could use in case we couldn't find enough stuff for our original design.
After ten minutes or so, we went outside to scope out the potential hotspots for materials. Our first spot that we checked was directly across from the site of installation. We found a small pond so we have a surplus of water. We found many small and medium sized sticks that can be used for nearly anything. However, we found very few rocks which is a vital component to many people's plans.
While this site did offer a lot of the things we needed, it didn't have everything. So Sam the Girl suggested that we try the HOPE trail. It turned out that the HOPE trail had many more large sticks and even entire fallen trees that we could use. There are also many rocks we can use here and they are all fairly large. This site will be a key area for gathering supplies. The following photos are just a small sampling of what we found.

Overall, it was a productive day. We now have a better sense of what we have to work
with and how we should revise our plans to make them work. Tomorrow we will decide what
it is we will actually build. Well, thats it for today. Until next time!
